🪬 HumanAI #005 – I Asked AI If I Was Replaceable (And How To Future-Proof Myself)

The Dawn of HumanAI

AI is inevitable. It’s happening.
Betting against evolution and progress is usually a bad decision.
So, we embrace it and use it to our advantage.
But we’ll always remember who we are—
HUMANS.

Hey!

Welcome to HumanAI, a newsletter for entrepreneurs, business owners, and decision-makers who want to think bigger, move faster, and unlock AI’s full potential—without the learning curve.

Okay, already feeling comfy at the new place.
But damn… a house is so much more work than an apartment.

I just finished cleaning the gutters.
Check the before and after (I’m proud of this):

VoilĆ ! ā˜Žļø Call 1-888-MENCHO to get your roof gutters cleaned up.

Not gonna lie—I was standing on a wobbly old painter’s ladder I found in the attic, bucket in one hand, and a tiny little shovel (absolutely not suited for the job) in the other.
Clumsy as hell. Constantly trying to balance myself and not die.

And the whole time I kept thinking: ā€œA little robot could EASILY do this in minutes.ā€

Instead, it took me two hours.

Would you trust your skeleton to this ladder? šŸ’€šŸ’€šŸ’€

But you know what?
There’s a weird satisfaction in finishing something with your own hands.

It’s dirty af. It’s slow. It’s physical.
But that after-the-work fulfilment feeling—that’s deeply HUMAN.

Anyway… let’s get into today’s newsletter.

A few months ago, I started asking people a simple question:
ā€œAre you using AI?ā€

Corporate execs. Lawyers. Designers. Accountants. Tech founders… a diverse bunch.

And you know what most of them say?
ā€œNot really… I tried it when ChatGPT came out…
It was cool, but I didn’t really make a difference.ā€

And I get it.
Honestly? I was like that too.

I tested the first version. Thought, ā€œThat’s cute.ā€

But here’s the thing no one realizes:
That was AI in 2022.

Fast forward to 2025:
It’s faster, smarter, and way more useful.
And in another 6 months… we’ll say the same about the version we’re using now.

So if someone says ā€œAI doesn’t really help meā€ā€¦
what they really mean is: ā€œI haven’t checked in on reality in a while.ā€

Remember, AI isn’t replacing people. It’s replacing skills.
And it’s moving fast.

Which brings me to this week’s theme….

🧠 HUMAN INSPIRATION: The Genius That Got Buried

This is a story about brilliance… and denial.

The year was 1975, a 24-year-old Kodak engineer named Steve Sasson builds the world’s first digital camera.

It’s clunky. It’s weird. It stores images on a cassette tape.

A bit big for my pocket… Shelve it!!

He walks into the boardroom with his prototype—excited, nervous, hopeful.

The execs listen. Nod. Then someone says:
ā€œThat’s cute. But don’t tell anyone about it.ā€

They shelved it.

Kodak invented the future of photography…
and then buried it to protect the past.

A few decades later:
Everyone has a digital camera in their pocket.
Photos are free. Instant. Infinite.
And Kodak? Bankrupt.

Steve Sasson got multiple awards.
But the empire he tried to save? Gone

This is the part that breaks my heart:
He wasn’t wrong.
He was early.
He was right too soon for the people in charge to handle.
(company leaders were clearly affected by marketing myopia—too focused on selling a product on its way to extinction).

So the question is…

What future are you seeing right now that no one around you is ready for?
And what skills are you ignoring because they feel too ā€œdifferent,ā€ too ā€œearly,ā€ too ā€œweirdā€?

History doesn’t just reward the best ideas.
It rewards the people who adapt first.

⚔ AI REAL-LIFE USE: From Prompt to Product—The AI Skill Analyzer

But here's the thing:
Most people loved it…
and didn’t do it.

Because let’s be honest—
Most of us don’t want another prompt.
We want a result.

So I built one.

My AI MVP

It’s called the AI Skills Analyzer (title still in WIP).

You just upload your CV (or LinkedIn), and it gives you a full breakdown:

  • Which of your skills are AI-replaceable

  • Which ones can be AI-boosted

  • Which ones are still AI-proof

  • And what skills you should start learning now to stay in the top 20%

No prompting. No formatting. Just click > upload > get report.

I haven’t released it publicly yet. But if you’re reading this… you’re early.

Want to be one of the first to test it?

It’s FREE!

⚔ BONUS — Turn Your Skills Report into a Personal Growth Engine

Once you get your Skills Analyzer report… don’t just read it.

Turn it into an action plan.

Copy this prompt into ChatGPT, upload your report, and let it build your next move:

You are my AI career strategist. I just received this AI Skill Report about my current strengths and risks. Based on it, create a custom 30-day action plan to help me strengthen my AI-proof and AI-boosted skills.

Prioritize:
- Fast learning (no fluff, not much time investment)
- High ROI activities
- Real-world application

Include: learning resources, mini-projects, practice tasks, and weekly checkpoints.

Make this plan brutally focused, personalized, and momentum-driven.

šŸ”„ This is how you go from ā€œThat’s interestingā€ to ā€œHoly sh*t, I’m levelling up.ā€

šŸš€ FOR THE BOLD ONES… The Aged Wine Paradox

In the old world, the longer you did something, the more valuable you became.
Your experience aged like wine.

But now?
Every year you don’t evolve, your value decays.

That’s the Aged Wine Paradox.

The more experienced you are, the more dangerous it is to stand still.

Have you seen the new ChatGPT 4o image generator?!? It’s insane.
Prompt for this image: ā€œcreate an image inspired in the Aged Wine Paradox by Lucas Menzanoā€

Why?
Because the world doesn’t just reward knowledge anymore—it rewards adaptability.

Experience still matters—it gives you wisdom, pattern recognition, and judgment.
But if you don’t pair that with speed, curiosity, and reinvention… you’ll be outrun by someone with half your experience and twice your momentum.

The killer combo?
Experience + Adaptability + AI.

That’s how you future-proof yourself.

So here’s your choice:
Stay the wine that ages… or become the spark that evolves.

Get prepared for the HumanAI world.

Final Thoughts

If you’ve read this far, here’s your next move:

  1. Run the Skills Analyzer today.

  2. Build your plan.

  3. Start applying it this week.

Okay! That’s a wrap. I gotta continue doing handy man stuff at home!

Stay active, stay sharp.

P.S. If Kodak had used ChatGPT, maybe they’d still be alive… just saying.

P.S.S. WOW! Thanks for all the messages and questions you’re sending!! This is crazy!

Before you go…

I’ve been helping Gus Balbontin with his newsletter for over a year and a half!

The thing is… For years, I’ve been having mind-blowing conversations with Gus.
Every time we talked, I kept thinking, "More people need to hear this."

So I provoked him and pushed him to go for it.

First, we launched the newsletter (over 6000 people receive it weekly!).
Then came our first Career Rebellion workshop. Then the second, then RTS, then the 3rd.. and so on..
And every step of the way, the same thing happened—people kept asking for more. More tools, more guidance, more community, MORE FREQUENT SEEING EACH OTHER.

So we built it: Life Shake Up!
The program I wished existed. The one I needed.

A space for people like us—people who refuse to live on autopilot, who want to shake things up, challenge the norm, and actually design a life that excites them.

I personally will share my journey and would love to learn from yours too.

If this resonates, come join us. I honestly believe this is a unique opportunity.
