Postponing.

I’ve been postponing writing this newsletter for the past month or so.

i was doing pretty much the same as my daughter under that paper bag

Why? Because “I’ve been so f*cking busy”.

the typical lame bs excuse.

To be kind to myself tho… I did have to lead a huge 360* product launch at a Gartner event + all digital channels, doing the work that typically is done with at leeeeast 3 or 4 months in advance and with a big team…. we did it in less than a month with a small team. AI did had a lot to do with us being able to achieve it (but I’ll tell more about that in the next newsletters).

Plus I have a toddler and a wife whom I love and want to spend time with.

Even with all that on my plate… I could have definitely written my weekly newsletter.

Because this simple activity of writing and creating these newsletters is one of my favorite things in my life right now. I truly enjoy it.

But every day I kept pressing the snooze button.

Postponing.

My -stupid- point was that “I really wanted to enjoy it”. Everything had to be perfect so I could give my best.

But I never felt like I was in the perfect mood.
My head wasn’t clear.
I couldn’t find the perfect setting to really do it and enjoy it.

But that’s stupid.
The act of doing it is what I enjoy.
Maybe the context or the setting isn’t ideal.
f*ck that.

Life happens. Life goes by.

If not now, when?

đź§  HUMAN INSPIRATION: The First Brand in History

Before Nike. Before Apple. Before Hormozi, Gary Vee, or any bro with a podcast mic...
There was one brand that started it all.

The first trademarked brand?

Bass Ale.

In 1876, it became the first logo to be officially registered in the UK.
Just a red triangle.
Simple. Iconic.

Why did it matter? Because at the time, beer was everywhere.
But Bass? Bass had identity.

It didn’t just say, “Here’s our product.”

It said: “We’re the one you know. We’re the one you choose.”

In a world of infinite choices, branding isn’t optional. It is survival.

Here’s a fun fact: Bass Ale’s red triangle was so iconic that artists started including it in their paintings—most famously, Édouard Manet featured a bottle of Bass Pale Ale in his 1882 masterpiece “A Bar at the Folies-Bergère.”

⚡ AI REAL-LIFE USE: How to become a cult leader

A great brand isn’t a logo. It’s a feeling.
It’s when people think of you, even when you’re not around.
It’s when your work speaks, even when you don’t.

They’re not built on product features.
They’re built on:

  • Shared beliefs

  • Language & rituals

  • Icons & identity

  • A sense of belonging

đź”§ Try This: Brand Like a Cult (With a Little Help From AI)

Step 1: Define Your Beliefs
What do you believe that others are too afraid to say out loud?
Write 3 bold declarations. Example:

“I believe AI should make us more human, not less.”
“Overthinking is killing your creativity.”
“Being “good” weird is a feature, not a bug.”

Step 2: Give It Language
Create signature phrases or terms only your “people” use.
Example: “The HumanAI”, “Flashero”, “Stay active, stay sharp”

Need help?
Prompt idea:

“Act as a brand strategist. Help me come up with 5 cult-style phrases my audience will instantly connect with, based on these beliefs…”

Pro tip: use this prompt as a starting point and work it with your own input from there.

Step 3: Create a Ritual
It could be a question you always ask, a way you sign off, or a symbol (🧉 anyone?).
Rituals = identity glue.

“Based on my brand, beliefs, language, suggest small rituals I can add to my newsletter or social posts to build connection and community. Before you suggest anything ask me as many questions as you need to get all the information you need to give me the best answer.”

Step 4: Make It Visual
Use Midjourney or DALL·E to generate images that feel like your brand.
Prompt I usually use:

“Create a cyberpunk, human-future inspired visual to represent the idea of….”

Step 5: Build the Altar (a.k.a Your Hub)
Make a Notion site, a homepage, or newsletter archive that feels like a secret club.
AI can help you write the copy, design prompts, or structure it.
Even build it all out for you.

You don’t need a marketing budget.
You need meaning.

AI gives you leverage.
Your brand gives you direction.

AI can write your copy.
Design your logo.
Generate your content calendar.

Everything except your essence.

Use both, and you’re unstoppable.

AI makes everything faster.
Which means: average gets cheaper.
The great gets amplified; it becomes greater.
But average gets replaced.
So you better not be average.

Your brand is your edge.
It’s not your colors or tagline. It’s your essence.

Keep building it. Sharpening it. Testing it. Living it.

Because in the future, when someone says:
“Hey AI, get me [insert your name here]…”

You better make sure AI knows what that means.
